Perth, April 10,2017
Former A-division football player Deependra Pariyar from Nepal, captain and founding member of Nepalese United Football Club, Western Australia (NUFC WA) has been playing as a striker and scoring goals in Metropolitan League organised by Football West here in Perth since 2014. The NUFC WA team has scored many goals to its opponents and will continue to do so in the future.
Many players from the team has been lucky to kick the ball to kiss the net of opponent teams but one of the luckiest is the captain himself, Deependra Pariyar, known as ‘DEEPEN’. Yesterday , the captain and the striker of the club was successful in scoring a milestone of 50 goals in Metro league of Football West only. He has many other goals in several other competitions and tournaments but this one was the special one. It was second goal of the match against Leeming Strikers that was played on 9th April 2017 at Leeming.
The game ended draw with 2-2 on scoreboard but the captain, Deepen was the real winner. Out of these 50 goals, 6 of them came from a single game against Spearwood Dalmatinac football club last season in 2016. It was his career best record as double hat trick in any game he has ever played. NUFC WA won that game with 9-5 score.
We would like to wish many many congratulations to the captain and hope more goals will come from the striker, Deependra Pariyar.
